Gorgeous watch made by John Gale, who worked in London on Lamb Street from 1790 to 1844.
The casing has a hallmark for the metal, the city of London, and the date.
The casing is made from 925 silver with traces of old gold plating (plating on inside of the casing in very good condition).

The upper part of the movement is richly decorated with engravings.

The Valjoux 23 is a chronograph movement produced since 1960, powered by a manual winding, and among its functions we find a small counter for 30 chronograph minutes at 3 o'clock.
At 9 instead we find the counter of the small continuous seconds.
The chronograph seconds are central.
The chronograph is sorted by column wheel.
It has a diameter of 29.5 mm. (13 lines) for a thickness of 5.82 mm.
It counts 17 jewels and its balance oscillates with a frequency of 18.000 A / h.
The power reserve is 46 hours.
The Valjoux 23 was used by brands such as Heuer, Ulysse Nardin, Hanhart, Croton, Nivada, Certina and last but not least Rolex and many others.

The Lusina watch company is known to have shown ring watches at the 1939 Swiss National Exhibition. The company was known as Pamm Frères prior to 1935 and was listed as Pamm Frères, Montres Lusina, S.A.R.L., in 1996.
André's father and his uncle, Jacub (Jaques) Pamm, ran the watch company, Lusina, until 1972 when André's father and his mother died in a car crash on their way for holidays in France.'
